Mark Glickman

Mark Glickman is the President and CEO of BioFlorida, a statewide organization dedicated to advancing Florida’s life sciences industry. In his role, Mark directs the organization’s overall strategy to enhance Florida’s competitiveness as a top global location for life sciences. Under his leadership, BioFlorida focuses on serving its members, fostering a positive business and legislative environment, advancing research commercialization, and collaborating across sectors to promote scientific progress. This includes supporting existing companies, launching startups, and attracting new businesses and talent to Florida.

Mark Currently Sits on the Board of Directors for MetaVia (Nasdaq: MTVA) and Otsuka Precision Health, a division of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Inc.

Previously, Mark served as Chief Executive Officer of TherapeuticsMD, Inc. (NASDAQ: TXMD) from 2022 until the sale of its assets to Mayne Therapeutics in January 2023. Before this, he was the Chief Business Officer, Commercial, at TherapeuticsMD, Inc., starting in June 2021. Mark also served as Chief Commercial Officer for Esperion Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ESPR) from 2018 to December 2020, where he led the commercial division in launching the company’s first cardiovascular prescription therapy and over 1.5 Billion Dollars in ex-US out -license deals. From June 2015 to March 2018, Mark was the Chief Commercial Officer for Aralez Pharmaceuticals, where he built and led the commercial efforts for a previously clinical organization.

Earlier in his career, Mark was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Auxilium Pharmaceuticals (Endo), where he led commercial efforts for a portfolio of thirteen pharmaceutical products. Auxilium was acquired by Endo Pharmaceuticals in 2015. His prior positions include Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Medical Devices for Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals Inc., as well as roles at Kos Pharmaceuticals (Abbott Labs) where he expanded his expertise in commercial product management.

With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Mark began his career as a diagnostic sales representative and advanced to senior executive roles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Management from NYU Stern School of Business.
