Morgan Kim

Morgan Kim brings over 25 years of legal, compliance, and ethics experience across healthcare, higher education, public transit, government, and corporate sectors. She served in key roles at multiple federal and state governmental entities including as: General Counsel and Deputy Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Commerce, OIG; Chief Counsel for the Office of Oversight, House Natural Resources Committee; Deputy Chief Counsel for the House Ethics Committee; Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at L.A. Metro; and Chief Compliance, Ethics and Privacy Officer at Florida Atlantic University.   

Morgan began her career clerking for the Honorable Kenneth L. Ryskamp, in the Southern District of Florida (SDFL), before becoming an associate at Latham & Watkins and then served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, SDFL, where she specialized in white collar crime and represented the United States in two dozen trials to verdict.  

Morgan earned her J.D. from George Mason Law School and her B.A. from Georgetown University. She is an active member of the bar in California and the District of Columbia and is also authorized in-house counsel in Florida.
